Fahrensohn Architects offers clients a seamless, integrated service and a single point of contact from concept through to construction and completion.
About
Fahrensohn Architects was established in 2008 by Auckland-based registered architect Chris Fahrensohn. Chris spent the early part of his career delivering government-funded projects across the Pacific, including Niue, Rarotonga, Fiji, and Kiribati. This experience continues to inform his design approach, blending modernist principles with strong Pasifika influences.
The practice delivers a range of educational and residential projects throughout New Zealand, characterised by thoughtful, context-driven design and a strong emphasis on buildability and performance.
Prior to founding Fahrensohn Architects, Chris worked with Jasmax (2003–2008) and Opus Architecture in Christchurch (2001–2003), gaining extensive experience on complex commercial and public sector projects.
